Case study
Affiliate automation is saving about 3 to 5 hours of manual work each week.
One operator managed affiliate work across six DTC brands and five networks. We built two approval-first workflows that prepare repeated work for review.
Before
One operator carried the same detailed work across six brands.
Partner outreach required research, fit checks, message writing, exclusions, pacing, and review. Each brand added different categories, rules, and accounts.
List rentals added another chain of exact details. The operator had to manage IDs, pricing, links, creative, suppression, compliance, launch records, and payment status.
The work was important. There was simply too much of it to keep repeating by hand while the affiliate program kept moving.
Impact outreach
Research and message preparation became a review queue.
The workflow found up to 50 candidate affiliates per brand each day. It reviewed recent content and prepared a source-checked opening for each candidate.
- FindApply brand, category, location, and publisher rules.
- ResearchRead recent content and keep the source with the draft.
- PrepareWrite a specific opening or use the approved fallback.
- ApproveLet the operator check every message before it can send.
TUNE list rentals
Every rental arrived ready for a decision.
The workflow prepares the complete rental brief and checks the required fields. It calculates expected cost and generates the affiliate-specific tracking link.
It also prepares the payable amount and manages payment status. A person still approves the rental and payment.
- PrepareCollect the publisher, audience, pricing, dates, creative, links, and compliance details.
- ReviewShow the full brief and expected cost before anything is approved.
- VerifyA person configures the rental in TUNE, checks the offer and tracking link, and sends it.
- RecordTrack launch, delivery, cost, payable amount, and approved payment status.
Repair
When the automation stopped, the operator could see it.
Browser sessions expired. Different permissions changed which brand accounts the workflow could reach. A personalization worker later stalled for eight days.
We repaired the worker and sign-in path, then added status checks and reporting. The operator could see what ran, what failed, and what needed review.
Early result
The operator gained time for work that still needed judgment.
The gain comes from both workflows together. They now prepare repeated research, setup, validation, and records for the operator to review.
The team is still expanding the system. The current result is an early operating gain, not the final scaled outcome.
Measurement note: The 3 to 5 hours is the team’s current weekly estimate across both workflows. The team continues to monitor adoption during rollout.
After
The operator kept the decisions that should stay human.
Partner fit and message approval
Brand rules, exclusions, limits, and pacing
TUNE configuration, launch, and link verification
Rental approval and payment approval
